Ingredients
1 Tablespoon Fresh Basil
1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley
1 teaspoon Fresh Oregano
1 teaspoon Fresh Garlic
1 teaspoon Sea Salt (Redmond Sea Salt Preferred)
1/2 teaspoon Fresh Rosemary
1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1/4 Crushed Red Pepper
Light Olive Oil
Heavy Olive Oil

Directions
Dip: After purchasing all fresh herbs, use just the leaves of the herb making sure to remove all stems. Grind each ingredient separately in a food processor. Spread herbs on a plates and let them dry for a few hours. Then, place all of the measured ingredients except the olive oil in a food processor and grind together.
Olive Oil: Mix oil in a 2 to 1 ratio using 2 parts light olive oil to 1 part heavy olive oil. This will give a nice flavor without being overwhelming to the herb dip.
Serving: Place 2 to 3 teaspoons of the dip on a plate and poor the olive oil mixture over the top. Serve with a warm French bread. |
